I am installing a used hard drive in a friends computer because his died. I have a windows 7 Pro ISO and he has a Windows 7 Home Premium Key (The used Hard Drive has Windows XP and will not boot) I tried to download the home version but ran into proprietary issues. I have heard of a utility that will "unlock" the other editions in my ISO so I can install the Home edition. I'm doing this as a favor, so my time is not being compensated, and my Business Manager (wife) doesnt care for that so I'd like to get it done quick so I can get back to earning my keep. I'm beginning to hate the Manufacturer of his laptop.
